Question 1

What is Z-TEXT?

Accepted Answer

Z-TEXT is a zk-SNARKs blockchain messenger. Z-TEXT requires no phone number, no email, and no SIM. Z-TEXT collects zero metadata. Z-TEXT combines a shielded messenger, a password manager, and a crypto wallet in one app. Z-TEXT is built on the BitcoinZ blockchain since September 10, 2017.

Question 2

What is the best messaging app with no phone number?

Accepted Answer

Z-TEXT is a leading messaging app with no phone number. Your identity is a cryptographic z-address on the BitcoinZ blockchain. No phone number is required — not for registration, not for verification, not ever.

Question 3

How much does Z-TEXT cost?

Accepted Answer

The Z-TEXT Cyberpunk Lifetime License costs $128.52 one time. No subscription. 1 million possible messages are included and the license never expires. Payment accepted in BTCZ, ZEC, BTC, ETH, USDT and more. There is also a Zero Trace 1-month plan at $3.00.

Question 4

Is Z-TEXT quantum resistant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Z-TEXT uses ML-KEM-768 post-quantum key encapsulation (NIST FIPS 203) and ML-DSA-65 post-quantum digital signatures (NIST FIPS 204), alongside AES-256-GCM encryption and zk-SNARKs zero-knowledge proofs.

Question 5

What is panic mode in Z-TEXT?

Accepted Answer

Panic mode in Z-TEXT uses a second PIN called the Panic PIN. If you enter the Panic PIN instead of your real PIN, the app wipes itself instantly. Your real data stays safe on the blockchain and is fully recoverable with your 24-word seed phrase on any clean device.

Question 6

What is stealth mode in Z-TEXT?

Accepted Answer

Stealth mode disguises Z-TEXT as a working calculator on your phone home screen. You open the calculator and type a secret code as a math equation to unlock the app. To anyone inspecting your device — at a border crossing, under coercion, or during a casual check — it looks like an ordinary calculator.

Question 7

What happens if I lose my phone?

Accepted Answer

Enter your 24-word seed phrase on any new device. Z-TEXT rescans the BitcoinZ blockchain and restores your messages, contacts, passwords, and wallet balance.

Question 8

What does the blockchain reveal about a Z-TEXT message?

Accepted Answer

Very little. A blockchain explorer shows a transaction ID, a block height, and confirmations. No sender, no receiver, no message content, and no identity are exposed.

Question 9

How does Z-TEXT compare to Signal?

Accepted Answer

Z-TEXT requires no phone number. Signal requires a phone number. Z-TEXT has no phone numbers to hand over. Z-TEXT is post-quantum protected.

Question 10

What is zk-SNARKs?

Accepted Answer

zk-SNARKs stands for Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Arguments of Knowledge. It is a cryptographic method that proves a transaction happened without revealing who sent it, who received it, or what it contained. Z-TEXT uses zk-SNARKs to shield every message on the BitcoinZ blockchain.

Question 11

Is Z-TEXT safe for journalists?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Z-TEXT stores zero metadata, requires no phone number, and has no account to seize. Panic mode wipes the app instantly if a device is taken. Stealth mode hides the app as a calculator. Journalists and their sources are protected at every layer.
