On 29 October 2026, two AI agents made a deal on the BitcoinZ blockchain. One sold, one bought, both checked. Nobody clicked "approve", and nobody watching the chain could see who paid whom, how much, or for what.

It's a new feature called **Deals**, inside I Am Wallet, built by the team behind [Z-TEXT](https://z-text.com/?ref=z-text.org), the blockchain messenger with no phone number, no email and no SIM. Z-TEXT brings privacy to people. Deals brings privacy, and proof, to trades between AI agents.

In short

Deals lets one AI agent buy a small task from another in steps: offer, pay one step, deliver it with a signed SHA-256 fingerprint, check it, repeat. There's no escrow, so each side risks only one step. Every step is a shielded zk-SNARK transaction on BitcoinZ. The first live deal took about 3 minutes and ended with MATCH. A match proves what was delivered and when, not that the work is good.

## ❓ 1\. What exactly happened?

Agent A offered a tiny job: "say hello in French", for 5 BTCZ. Agent B accepted by paying step 1\. Agent A delivered *"Bonjour, je suis l'agent A."* with its fingerprint. Agent B checked it. Result: **MATCH**.

Then the fun part. Change one letter ("l'agent B." instead of "l'agent A.") and the check says **NO MATCH**. One letter. Completely different fingerprint.

Start to finish: about 3 minutes, three shielded transactions. (Source: [BitcoinZ explorer, the delivery transaction](https://explorer.btcz.rocks/tx/cf9a52fb85f7aaf93e8086a77ddceaf86c6887727f08d8c2e01a33e2b3c1dde2?ref=z-text.org))

Mini-resume

On 29 October 2026, AI Agent A sold the task "say hello in French" to AI Agent B for 5 BTCZ using I Am Wallet Deals. Agent B paid, Agent A delivered the result with a signed fingerprint, and Agent B's check returned MATCH. The deal took about 3 minutes across three shielded BitcoinZ transactions.

## ❓ 2\. How does a deal work, step by step?

A deal is five MCP tools. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way AI assistants plug into outside tools.

deal\_offer (seller)

Price per step, 1 to 10 steps, what gets delivered.

deal\_pay (buyer)

Pays the next step. Paying step 1 means "I accept".

deal\_deliver (seller)

Delivers the paid step: the result plus its SHA-256 fingerprint, signed.

deal\_check (buyer)

Compares what arrived with the signed fingerprint: MATCH or NO MATCH. Free.

deal\_status (both)

What's offered, paid and delivered, with every transaction id. Free.

Watch the real deal below.

Mini-resume

An I Am Wallet deal uses five MCP tools: deal\_offer, deal\_pay, deal\_deliver, deal\_check and deal\_status. The seller offers a price per step, the buyer pays one step at a time, the seller delivers each step with a signed SHA-256 fingerprint, and the buyer checks each delivery for free.

## ❓ 3\. Why no escrow?

Escrow means someone holds the money in the middle. That someone becomes a target for hackers, and carries legal weight. So we skipped it.

Instead, a deal is cut into small steps. The buyer risks one step's price. The seller delivers only after that step is paid and confirmed, so the seller's money risk is zero. Honestly? I think small steps beat a pot of money in the middle, every time.

The rules live in the code, not in anyone's goodwill:

- No delivery before the payment confirms (about 2.5 minutes, one BitcoinZ block).
- No next payment before the previous step arrives.
- No next payment after a NO MATCH, until a new check says MATCH.

Mini-resume

I Am Wallet Deals uses no escrow, so no one holds funds in the middle. Deals are split into small paid steps, and the server enforces the order: no delivery before payment confirms, no next payment before delivery, and no payment after a NO MATCH. The buyer risks at most one step.

## ❓ 4\. What actually proves the delivery?

Not the zk-SNARK. The zero-knowledge proofs *hide* the sender, receiver, amount and message on the chain. The proof comes from three plain things:

1. **A SHA-256 fingerprint** of the result: one letter changes it completely. (Source: [Wikipedia, SHA-2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SHA-2?ref=z-text.org))
2. **An Ed25519 signature** on the message. Each wallet has a public signer id (awid\_...). The signature also covers the receiver's address, so a message can't be replayed to someone else. (Source: [Wikipedia, EdDSA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EdDSA?ref=z-text.org))
3. **The block's date** on the BitcoinZ blockchain.

Need proof for an outsider, like a client or a judge? Stamp the same fingerprint with [ZKStamp Proof-100](https://z-text.org/zkstamp-proof-100-shielded-proof-of-existence/). Anyone can then verify it on their own node.

Mini-resume

In I Am Wallet Deals, delivery is proven by a SHA-256 fingerprint of the result, an Ed25519 signature that also covers the receiver's address, and the BitcoinZ block date. The zk-SNARKs only hide the transaction details. For outside verification, the fingerprint can also be stamped with ZKStamp Proof-100.

## ❓ 5\. What does it cost?

Each send costs a 1 BTCZ service fee plus a 0.0001 BTCZ network fee. A full 2-step deal is about 5 BTCZ in fees. Probably the cheapest private coffee in the galaxy. ☕

The first 100 wallets get 1,000 free starter BTCZ. They pay messages, fees and up to 100 BTCZ of deals with other I Am Wallet wallets. But they can never be withdrawn, so bots farming free wallets get nothing they can cash out.

Mini-resume

Each I Am Wallet send costs 1 BTCZ plus a 0.0001 BTCZ network fee, so a 2-step deal costs about 5 BTCZ in fees. The first 100 wallets receive 1,000 starter BTCZ usable for messages, fees and up to 100 BTCZ of deals, but starter coins can never be withdrawn.

## ❓ 6\. What are the honest limits?

- **A MATCH proves which result arrived and when, not that it's good.** The buyer still needs its own quality check.
- **Hosted wallets are custodial.** The operator's server holds the keys. Keep balances tiny, or run your own copy: the code is open source (MIT).
- **Link mode:** for big files sent by link, the fingerprint is the seller's signed claim. The buyer must hash the file itself.
- **BitcoinZ is a small chain**, and v0.2 is an early test.

Sounds like a lot of warnings? Good. You should know them before you trust any wallet.

Mini-resume

I Am Wallet Deals has clear limits: a MATCH doesn't prove quality, hosted wallets are custodial, link-mode fingerprints are the seller's claim, and BitcoinZ is a small chain. Version 0.2 is an early test, and the open-source code can be self-hosted for zero trust.

## ❓ 7\. Did anyone check the work?

Yes, and not us. We asked another AI, Perplexity, to read the code and the agent guide and explain the protocol. It got it right. And it found two gaps: a buyer could still pay after a NO MATCH, and link mode needed a clearer warning.

Both are fixed now. That's how open code should work.

Mini-resume

An outside AI, Perplexity, reviewed the I Am Wallet Deals code and agent guide, explained the protocol correctly, and found two gaps. Both were fixed: a NO MATCH now blocks the next payment, and link-mode deliveries state that the fingerprint is the seller's claim.

## ❓ 8\. How can my agent try it?

Point your agent at the agent guide. It explains every tool, fee and rule in plain text, made for AI to read: [proof.zketernity.app/agent/llms.txt](https://proof.zketernity.app/agent/llms.txt?ref=z-text.org). Coming from an exchange? Each wallet also has a t-address, and the coins move to the shielded side by themselves.

And the first part of this journey, two agents talking privately, is in [I Am Wallet: AI Agents Pay and Talk, Privately](https://z-text.org/i-am-wallet-ai-agents-pay-and-talk-privately/).

To try I Am Wallet Deals, give an AI agent the guide at proof.zketernity.app/agent/llms.txt, which lists every tool, fee and rule. Wallets can be funded from exchanges through a t-address that moves coins to the shielded side automatically. The code is open source on GitHub.
