Verify Z-TEXT zk-SNARKs: Don't Trust Us. Check.

Z-TEXT is a zk-SNARKs blockchain messenger built on BitcoinZ. Z-TEXT requires no phone, no email, and no SIM. Z-TEXT collects zero metadata.
Most privacy apps ask you to trust their marketing. Z-TEXT asks you to do the opposite: don't trust us — check.
This post gives you three things you can verify yourself, right now. A published threat model that states plainly what Z-TEXT protects against and what it does not. A 7 ZEC bug bounty pool you can see on the blockchain. And the real Z-TEXT app running in closed beta.
No logos. No testimonials. No hype. Just proof you can click.
❓ What does Z-TEXT protect against — and what does it NOT?
Most apps only tell you what they protect. Z-TEXT publishes both sides.
| ✅ Z-TEXT protects against |
| Server compromise · network surveillance · the recipient learning your IP · device theft · viewing-key leaks. The full threat model explains each one. |
| ⚠️ Z-TEXT does NOT protect against |
| Your ISP seeing you use the BitcoinZ network (unless you add Tor or a VPN) · a stolen seed phrase · the underlying cryptography being broken · someone tricking you into installing a fake app. |
An honest tool states its limits. Z-TEXT states them in public.

❓ Is the Z-TEXT bug bounty real? Check it on-chain.
Yes. Z-TEXT runs a paid bug bounty, funded in ZEC. The original pool was 7 ZEC. Z-TEXT has already paid its first bounty, so the current on-chain balance is 6.93 ZEC. You don't have to take our word for any of it. The pool address is public, and anyone can verify the live balance on the Zcash blockchain.
Z-TEXT pays researchers who find real flaws. Rewards scale by real-world impact:
| Severity | Reward | Example |
| Critical | 3 ZEC | Remote message decryption, key recovery, or fund theft |
| High | 1.5 ZEC | Breaking a stated privacy property |
| Medium | 0.5 ZEC | Auth bypass or limited server-side flaw |
| Low | 0.1 ZEC | Minor info leak with a working proof of concept |

❓ What does Z-TEXT actually look like? See it in closed beta.
Z-TEXT is three tools in one: a shielded messenger, a password manager, and a crypto wallet. Here is Z-TEXT running in closed beta. No staging. No mockups. The real app.
1. Your identity is a handle, not a phone number.
Z-TEXT gives you a shielded ID. No phone, no email, no SIM. Your identity is yours alone — a 24-word seed phrase recovers everything. This is the Z-TEXT shielded ID screen.

2. Nobody reaches you without consent.
Before anyone can message you on Z-TEXT, both sides must approve. This screen shows three pending contact requests — Z-TEXT waits for each person to accept before any conversation begins. No cold contact. No spam. No stranger in your inbox.

3. The messages themselves? Nothing to see.
Z-TEXT messages are shielded with zk-SNARKs zero-knowledge proofs and AES-256-GCM encryption. On the blockchain, there is no readable message, no sender, no recipient — nothing to read. The absence is the proof. This is a Z-TEXT transaction on-chain: encrypted, shielded, unreadable.

4. Hide the whole app behind a calculator.
Z-TEXT stealth mode disguises the app as a working calculator. A specific calculation unlocks the real Z-TEXT. To anyone who picks up your phone, it is just a calculator.

5. Your passwords live on-chain, not on a company server.
Z-TEXT includes a decentralized password vault. Your passwords are stored on the BitcoinZ blockchain, encrypted — not sitting in one company's database waiting to be breached. This is the Z-TEXT password vault.

6. Unlock everything with a license code.
No account. No identity check. You buy a Z-TEXT license code, redeem it, and Z-TEXT confirms Premium. This screen shows a Z-TEXT Premium activation after a license was redeemed.

❓ Why does Z-TEXT do all this in public?
Because privacy you can't verify isn't privacy — it's a promise. And promises break.
Governments expand surveillance. Companies harvest metadata and call it a feature. The people pushing back deserve tools they can actually check, not marketing they have to believe. Z-TEXT publishes its threat model, funds a bug bounty anyone can see on-chain, and shows the real app in beta. That's the standard.
Z-TEXT also keeps its principles on the public record. The Z-TEXT privacy manifesto is pinned to IPFS and timestamped on the BitcoinZ blockchain — it cannot be quietly edited or erased.
Don't trust us. Check. Then decide.
