π΄ The Three Red Flags
π΄ Flag 1 β Musk admitted it In a televised interview, Elon Musk confirmed that under previous ownership, US government agencies had full access to all Twitter DMs. His solution was to add encryption β but X Chat launched just weeks ago with unaudited encryption and already has known vulnerabilities.
π΄ Flag 2 β Biometric data collection X's privacy policy explicitly states it may collect biometric information for "safety, security and identification purposes." This is an extraordinary level of data collection for a messaging app.
π΄ Flag 3 β One man owns it One billionaire owns X. He has business interests in multiple countries. He cannot be two things at once β both the protector of your privacy and the owner of the infrastructure that holds your messages.
Honest Verdict
X is a powerful social network with enormous reach and real utility. If you are a public figure, journalist, or creator β you probably need an X presence. X Chat is a genuine attempt to add privacy features, and we respect that.
But X DMs are not private messaging. The encryption is new, unaudited, and already flagged by security researchers. The platform collects biometric data. One person owns the entire infrastructure. And that person has already confirmed governments had routine access to everything before encryption was added.
Z-TEXT has no owner. It runs on a blockchain that has been operating continuously since September 2017. No government can request access. No billionaire can change the rules. No company can be pressured. Your z-address belongs to nobody but you.
